Interrupted Interviews

For many technical reasons interviews may be inadvetrtantly interrupted.  Video or audio may fail or experience issues of lag or quality.   Every effort shall be made to avoid such interruptions, but unforeseen circumstances and technical issues may at times force such a condition to occur in the course of an interview.

If you are present in an interview and it is interrupted in any manner, try to log in again if necessary and then remain present in the room by keeping your zFairs page open, while using another window or browser tab to inform the CSEF Help Desk at ScienceFair.space.  Use the circular Help Desk icon at the bottom right of the page, and select the topic “Missing Judges”.   You may also call the CSEF Help Desk by phone at 848-CSC-CSEF or 848-272-2733.

Continue to monitor the status of the interview room. Interrupted interview sessions may resume automatically when the judges have reconnected or re-entered the room.  In such case participants and judges should immediately resume where they left off, and continue the interview.  Regardless of any such interruption interview sessions may not be able to be extended or rescheduled.
